Repose' Fusee Verge Quarter Hour Repeater

This Quarter Hour Repeater  
Strikes on a bell housed inside the pierced multicolored gold case.  It also has a switch to convert it into a dumb repeater that taps on the case instead of striking the bell.  That way it would not disturb others as it discretely indicated the time to the owner.  When we received this watch  it was badly tarnished and stained.  It also had several mechanical problems.  It is a Fusee watch with a Verge escapement.  Notice the tiny piece of chain in the repeater mechanism that is hidden under the dial.  It is the same type as the Fusee Chain.
